A few days ago I was in Harrogate for the annual Theakstones Old Peculier Crime writing festival. It was great to meet up with friends and watch several panels discussing 'Class' and 'Pace' in writing. My highlight was meeting James Patterson and having a brief chat while he signed his book. I didn't take many photos this time but did meet many authors, bloggers and avid readers of crime fiction.
